| My 2nd design of the CD Inlay for the 1st album of the band of my friend: Knocked down by Punches http://www.myspace.com/knockeddownbypunches The theme is: RIOT I made my own interpretation of the KdbP logo, which they have on their website: I cut it apart (PC), printed it, cut it free (real), weared it off (cutter), glued it on paper, took a photo, made the shadow to black alpha (PC). Since I know no way to get the "roll-up" perspective of an image, I used Blender :-p I cut around the edges of the grenade to make the edges harder, to provide decent alpha support and to fix some deformation caused by the too-thick brush. Raised the contrast and darkened the whole thing down. The now bright-orange stripe reminds me of the nazi-sign. O_O no intended relation though. Technique: Acrylics on thin white cardboard + Blender + GIMP size: ca. 12x12 cm time needed: ca. 2 days 976 raw characters | ||||||||||
